We have sadly said goodbye to our dreamy adventure and said hello to our life back here. It does take time to get used to being apart from my man again. I find we work best when we are together, but also our home is so cosy and our friends and family are pretty special- which makes it easy to love life here.
I feel like I am a new woman in so many ways from the experiences and quality time that was shared with both my little family and the wonderful people we met there but I also feel that it grounded me a little more. It reminds me the value of life, love and keeping perspective on the true things we have.
With all that said I really will miss our days waking to the warm European sunshine bathing us through the cracks in the curtains and gazing up at my beautiful man. Then feeling the tiny fingers, toes, elbows and knees placed all over my body as we share the bed with my babies. And hearing the noisy whispers of tiny people asking if we are awake. I will miss seeing quaint village streets that hold so much history within them as I walk with my family making our own history.
But instead I will be grateful to wake being warmed by the Australian sun and the fingers and toes and noisy whispers here. I will walk our bushy streets and continue making memories here too, because thankfully life does still go on and I love it this way or that way as long as we are together.
Sweet days beautiful people, hope you are all happy and safe.
